Saddlewood at Deep Well Ranch- Dorn Homes new AFFORDABLE Prescott option

Last week I spent most of my week with Dorn Homes.  The most exciting thing I discovered was the new Saddlewood neighborhood at Deep Well Ranch in Prescott.  This community is currently 146 homesites, with the potential of 8800 total homesites.  Those may or may not all be Dorn Homes, the future has yet to be determined.  However, the only company currently building here is Dorn.  There are three models to choose from ranging from about 1300 sq ft to 2100 sq ft.  The models are very well laid out in my opinion.  They have some very nice standard features- maple cabinets, granite counters, covered patios to name a few.  The homes can include a solar option.  The best part of these homes, and the part that really blew me away, the value!  Home prices currently range from 255,000- 285,000.  This is for the standard options with out lot upgrade or finishing upgrades.  However- the lot premiums are VERY affordable.

It is a fantastic option for those who currently feel "priced out" of Prescott.  We had two clients end up purchasing new homes last week and we are thrilled that they will be able to live in town in a wonderful home.  Honestly, these homes are far above their current resale competition.  I have shown many a home in the this price range in Prescott... just nothing this nice or new at the price point available.  Get in now, before prices start to creep up!

Most importantly, go and see what Saddlewood has to offer, but take a realtor with you!  Why?  For three major reasons- 1.)  Sales persons at the office only represent the builder- they do not represent you or your interests.  2.) Your realtor will be there to answer questions, attend any scheduled design or electrical appointments and help YOU any way they can. 3.)  Realtors have insurance that covers you and your purchase during the transaction.  In the event something happens with the builder, this insurance will help you.  Without an agent, you are left to your own recourse.  4.) Realtors ask the right questions- for instance "Why would it benefit my client to work with a "preferred lender"?" Asking the right questions may benefit you since their are often incentives you may be unaware of.
